THE ZARAX ASSOCIATION

THE ZARAX ASSOCIATION is a cultural association based in Sydney, Australia.

At the height of the Greek migration to Australia, a group of migrants from the Zaraka Region of Greece turned to each other for support and connection to their homeland, in the midst of an unfamiliar new environment.

Whilst this started as informal gathering of a group of people who were born in the same geographical area that shared the same culture, it turned into an official association which included the original migrants, their children, partners and grandchildren.

To this day, the Association provides a network where we, the descendants of Zaraka, can celebrate our culture, history and tradition.
